This is a super yummy treat, high in calories but much healthier than a candy bar….
Almond Joy
2 cups organic agave nectar
2 cups coconut oil
If your coconut oil is solid, place its container in a sink of hot tap water to
melt it first. Then put both ingredients in a high powered blender and add:
1 cup raw powdered chocolate (or unsweetened cocoa)
Blend well, then pour the mixture into a bowl and stir in:
2 cups shredded coconut
2 cups chopped almonds
Pour the mixture into a 9×13 pan, chill 2 hours, and cut into squares to serve.
Greek shrimp
This recipe yields two servings at 277 calories per serving.
Ingredients
• 1/2 pound shrimp, cooked and peeled
• 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
• 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
• 1 Garlic Clove, minced
• 3/4 cup Cherry Tomatoes, halved
• 3/4 cup Cucumber, peeled, seeded, and diced
• 1/3 cup Onion, diced
• 1/3 cup Black Olives, sliced
• 1/4 cup Red Pepper, diced
• 3 Tbsp Fresh Dill, chopped
• 3/4 cup crumbled Feta Cheese
Directions
1. In a bowl, combine oil, lemon juice, garlic, cucumbers,
onion, red pepper and dill. Mix well
2. Add the shrimps, tomatoes, olives, and feta, stir gently. Serve this mixture
in lettuce leaves (like lettuce wraps) or red cabbage leaves work well too.
Protein Jello
apx 120 calories (even if you eat the whole thing by yourself!)
Ingredients
• 1 package sugar-free Jell-O (orange flavored)
• 1 scoop Jay Robb egg white Protein Powder (vanilla flavored)
Directions
1. Mix 1 cup boiling water with the Jell-O powder
2. Stir in one scoop of the protein powder until dissolved.
3. Once that’s finished, mix in one cup of cold water and allow to set.
